Eating raw vegetables and fruits provides the organism with high intake of nutrients and also better metal health in adults and kids. It is not simple coincidence that people that show poor happiness and positive levels are the ones eating more processed foods.
An study made by the Psychology Department of the University of Otago in New Zealand found a relationship between consumption of raw vegetables and fruits and mental health.
People eating raw fruits and vegetables showed higher positive mood: low depression symptoms and anxiety, life satisfaction, and flourishing.
Among foods to improve your mood are carrots, bananas, apples, dark leafy greens like spinach, kale, lettuce, citrus fruits, fresh berries, cucumber, and kiwifruit.
